ELIZABETH PIERCE-DURANCE, Esq.

  

Elizabeth has practiced law in the Vail Valley for more than 15 years. As a family law attorney, she has extensive experience helping her clients navigate some of life's most difficult passages.  Today she focuses her energy on estate planning and administrative services, working with allied professionals to meet her clients' needs with excellence and compassion.


Elizabeth earned her law degree from Boston University School of Law.  She is currently earning an LL.M. in Taxation from the Sturm College of Law at Denver University.  Elizabeth is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and its Trust and Estate, Elder Law, and Tax Sections.  She serves on the Civic and Community Affairs Committee for the Trust and Estate Section.  She is also a member of the Continental Divide Bar Association.  


In her "spare" time, Elizabeth volunteers as a Senior Buddy for the local Buddy Mentor Program operated by the Bright Futures Foundation of Eagle County.  She previously served on the Stone Creek Charter School board of directors and on the Eagle County Resource Center advisory board. Elizabeth has volunteered with the Sturm College of Law Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic.  She is frequently serves as ccourt-appointed Respondent Parent Counsel in 5th Judicial District child-welfare cases. Elizabeth is the proud mother of two children.
